I just like to point out inconsistencies in peoples logic. A lot of times it then sounds like I am making another point, but I usually am not.

I do enjoy people who say they are left with $50 to next week also say things like making coffee at home and eating at home won't make a difference. And by eating at home I mean pasta or tuna on toast sometimes. Sucks, but $50 until next Tuesday. Can double that probably.

If you have people who are dipshits and you need to handle their affairs, it's worth the $6 to send these people a notorized letter that you are authorized to work as a representative for your kid. I did this twice for someone else for spite. I'm not even related to them.

need a term for when an expensive, luxury experience is messed up by anomalous penny-pinching decisions. like putting single-ply toilet paper in a $1000/night hotel bathroom. "MBA brain" or "private equity smell" probably fit.
