In November 2020, when Trump lied about having won the election, I knew that the purpose of the LIE was to facilitate fundraising and that he would siphon to himself the funds that his fraud produced. He has NEVER had ANY intention of running again and suffering more humiliation.

@TheEconomist The problem with Mearsheimer's argument is that Putin knew that an invasion of Ukraine would be certain to increase (not decrease) support for the expansion of NATO. A more plausible, alternative explanation for the invasion is that Putin wants to expand Russia's borders.

@atrupar Tragic. I just learned of a friend who died this morning of Covid before getting booster. She lived in El Salvador where it can be a bit more difficult to stay fully vaccinated. Guatemala and Honduras are even worse. We're very lucky here. Get/stay vaccinated.
