#BlastFromThePast 13 yrs ago this date, I completed the stage run of my own directed modern rendition of Henri Purcell's Dido&Aeneas - which was blasphemous with the legacy it carried. Of all things I have done in my life, this one is something I am most proud of (1/n)

@Batla_G It was actually called only Daag. But then there was an older hindi film, probably with Rajesh Khanna, whose producer refused to part away with the name. So the suffix was a last minute addition, more like on a Wednesday or so before release. At least that's what I recall.

AfD has fair number of "Knacker mit Deutschen Pass" in their own ranks !!
Heard a few stories about these far-right notes being used in a pathetic attempt to intimidate ordinary, decent people. The irony of course is that the note, as it declares who is and isn't German, manages to misspell "Ihr seid" as "Ihr seit", not once, but twice...

This film had everything going for it - budget, killer soundtrack, absolutely pretty people toplining a very competent support cast of actors, very interesting germ of plotline - and the writer/director screwed it up so bad so bad!!
