I used Always for years. I not only developed skin problems but also Bartholin Cysts. It got so bad that my doctor had to ask me to use anything but this brand. After research I found how to make pads scented they were using toxic dioxins that causes cancer and other problems.

On my way back home today, I noticed my Careem driver looking at me in the mirror. I ignored and sat towards the door because it's usual for drivers to be creepy towards a girl traveling alone. But it wasn't usual.

Met a desi aunty yesterday who, in her first interaction with me, told me that I should quit my studies and get married now and also how it's good that I'm living alone because now I can cook good food for my susral. Thanks for unwanted advice but I don't want to live your life.

Desi men are a plague all over the world. Encountered two drunk desi men who tried to harass me and my friend in broad daylight. Walked away after shutting them up and came across three uncles commenting about us in urdu. I cursed them out loud but they just laughed and howled.

It sucks to be a woman fighting patriarchy all the time. It's frustrating and tiring. It's not heroic but unfortunate. There's nothing brave about it. It's just unfair. This society should be ashamed of itself.

My friend who had an accident last year and was in coma for months spoke for the first time and decided to call me to wake me saying "uth k parh lo exam k liye" I can't even express how happy I am today. Alhumdulillah! :')

13. I'll Meet You There (2020) - a drama film by Iram Parveen Bilal that portrays a Pakistani-American family in Chicago. CBFC banned the film citing that the film "does not reflect true Pakistani culture" and "portrays a negative image of Muslims."

I don't wear sleeveless or even half sleeves in public. I don't wear short trousers or pants. I make sure I'm properly covered while going out. Yet every day I encounter desperate perverts who stare at me regardless of their age.

I've been trying to avoid the motorway incident because it's very triggering. As a woman who travels frequently, I've always lived with the fear of a man harming me. Going to the rest rooms on motorway with a taser or not leaving my bus to get food. This is so unfortunate.
