I owe my MLS career to Pablo Mastroeni. He was thrown into an impossible situation in Colorado with a President/GM that wouldn’t provide him with resources to succeed. He wasn’t “their guy”
He was fired after being 1 game from MLS Cup and 2 pts from supporters shield.

5 years ago I played my first preseason game on that field in Houston. It’s also the last field I’ll ever play on as a professional. Its not ending the way I dreamed it would, but the last 5 years have been better than I could have ever dreamed. North Carolina, I’m coming home

He was fired and I felt responsible.
He’s now doing an incredible job at RSL and I love seeing him be successful.

Forgot to mention John Spencer or Davy Arnaud. I know I’m not an expert, but I was part of a U-17 World Cup Cycle. You need a developer and motivator. Spencer and Davy are pure class as well. I’m pumped for how good the Rapids are going to be in 2020. Just my thoughts

Two terrible VAR decisions and the second yellow to Price? Heard Wondo say things to refs that you wouldn’t even believe and they just smiled. The same old story for these refs who don’t have a clue. MLS refs still owe me for all my fines

I got fined $1k in the playoffs for “grabbing necks” and David Villa kicked out at some Toronto player the same weekend and he wasn’t even warned. Seems like the Rapids are always playing against the refs too

1/ It was a random Tuesday when I was traded from the Colorado Rapids to the Houston Dynamo.
GM called me to the office. Said you’re on a plane to Houston tomorrow morning- we just traded you.
I said bye to all in the facility but two goodbyes really stood out.

33 is a special number for me. I was the 33rd overall draft pick in the 2014 MLS Draft.
I wore it as my jersey number my entire career. It reminded me that every team skipped over me on draft day. It fueled my motivation to prove I belonged.
