@Cric_Beyond_Ent Hmm. On the one hand, we need a backup wicketkeeper so I’d be interested in someone like Lizelle Lee. Also we have lost *two* all-rounders from the XI, so if the two Sophie’s are replaced by Danni and Heather, the bowling options will reduce!

@Cric_Beyond_Ent I strongly second that! People criticize Smriti for not performing in high stress matches, but matches seem to *become* high stress when she doesn’t perform!

@Jeetv27WC And ideally 2026 onwards is home and away, with one or more teams. It’s a very fair solution but unfortunately the crowd may be weaker. Ahmedabad in particular looks empty even with decent crowds!

@Jeetv27WC I was all for dropping Shafali from ODIs, but leaving her out of T20Is is ridiculous (unless it was explicitly to give her more domestic ODI matches). With Harman injured, there are only 3 experienced batters, and 3 who have debuted in the last 7-8 months!

@Cric_Beyond_Ent I noticed the same thing. She was practically warming up on the sidelines 😅 I have not been a fan of Priya Punia being in the squad at all, after her India A performance. Yastika’s injury was really unfortunate!
