Yesterday, I joined Bishop William Barber II, the Poor People's Campaign & the Union of Southern Service Workers for a Get Out the Vote rally to make the voices of the working class heard.

Thanks to One Wake, Midtown Raleigh Alliance, & Raleigh Mag for bringing residents together and spurring public engagement. I'm heartened by how many voters are tuning in to learn about local elections and hold their leaders accountable. In Raleigh, our people are our strength!

Protecting our environment is one of my core governing principles. That's why I'm honored to again receive the endorsement of the NC Sierra Club. As Mayor, I'll continue working to preserve our trees and green spaces, protect our waterways, and limit waste and emissions.
