The reason I'm retweeting UK photos and videos of today's protest across 50 towns and cities is that, as of now, NONE of UK's mainstream media is reporting the scale of the national UK protests. See the problem? #EnoughIsEnough #StandByYourPost

This morning Liz Truss, interviewed by Laura Kuenssberg on BBC Sunday Morning Live, confirmed if she becomes PM she's AGAINST solar farms,(like onshore wind energy), and she will restart fracking, nuclear and North Sea oil. It really is the worst scenario for the climate crisis.

I'm for real. My family relatives were murdered in the Holocaust like Margaret Hodge but unlike her I would not call the elected Labour leader a racist and antisemite. Aside from this appalling, divisive failure in diplomacy, you then incriminate Labour supporters? 🤦‍♂️🙄🙃

It became apparent Keir Starner’s visit to Stroud was an orchestrated photo opportunity to look as if he had met and listened to the people, that he cared about the local NHS hospital and health care services. But he did not meet let alone listen to any of the people in Stroud.

Following Tugendhat's reply, it ends. This entire BBC news report on the main headline of Donald Trump cancelling a visit to London appears designed to blame Labour both the London Mayor and Labour leader with no intention to give either of them the right to reply. 5/ #BBCFail

This is a most horrific deprived and violent triple act of murder aimed at the women in one family. I can't begin to imagine the scale of loss & shock which John Hunt will be experiencing. My heart goes out to him and his family and hope he receives the best care possible. 🙏

@LOS_Fisher Such propaganda - embarrassing. The "sources" trying to rile up public opinion against an ex Royal Marine who charted his own plane. If UK Afghan evacuation hadn't been a shameful failure by ministers, leaving more than 1,000+ British nationals behind, this would not be a story.

Did UK journalists ever press Boris Johnson or Dominic Raab on preparations for the Afghan evacuation, or any investigations? There must have been alarming signs forewarning of their dereliction of duty. Were they challenged in May when France began their Afghan evacuations?

To be clear the BBC news reporter introduces Nigel Farage as the former UKip leader defending Donald Trump's decision not to visit London - Farage blames both the Mayor of London and Labour leader. BBC does not give the Mayor or Corbyn the opportunity to respond 2/ #BBCFail

Listening to BBC #Radio4 interview Keir Starmer - already a car crash. Stutter stutter.. He was caught out! Issues of no fee for university which he agreed with previously but not now. The cap on 2 child benefit he is “absolutely” clear - no. In an ideal world? What a mess.

Devastating. - If only UK Govt had called an earlier lockdown, stopped events like Cheltenham & sports. - If only they provided protective equipment to front line staff & care homes - If only they had followed @WHO advice to test even the mild cases & trace contacts and isolate

Of all UK politicians, Wes Streeting is one of the most repulsive, untrustworthy scammers. Yet Keir Starmer has chosen him as the Labour shadow health minister in charge of the NHS? Here he justifies why he will not increase NHS funding if a Labour Govt wins the general election.

Wes Streeting: "Every penny we put into the NHS comes at the expense of other worthy causes, whether child poverty reduction, spending in schools" Under Labour you can have a well funded NHS or you can lift kids out of poverty, but you can't have both.

I've been on Twitter / X a long time & have had my fair share of Twitter trolls especially when a Tweet gets retreated over 3,000 times. Yet I've never seen nor blocked as many racists as those targeting my Tweet defending Diane Abbott today. Where is this coming from?

I'm so glad I voted Green last week. Honestly, UK Labour's latest recruit voted to make abortion a criminal offence in Northern Ireland. If this were the States, Elphicke would support Trump.

No one thought more about it until yesterday when news was published in the local paper that the highly respected long serving Labour leader of Stroud District Council was told she was declined as unsuitable from the Labour parliamentary long list to run as the next Stroud MP.

This is how UK media works in a nutshell - staggering media bias 24/7 month after month, year after year. This is how Labour lost the 2019 election. The public was poisoned against him and anyone who says anything different has enabled an even weaker Electoral Commission.

Shocked, appalled by Guardian hit piece editorial on UN, Israel & Gaza. Not only fails to defend UN Secretary General's speech, says it was poorly drafted? Concludes the UN is dysfunctional? Dreadful analysis. Shameful bias to ultra-right Israeli state.

MPs from several parties have said they will not support Jeremy Corbyn as PM, so we know he cannot command support in Parliament. If he is unwilling to get behind another candidate, then he risks delivering the no-deal Brexit he claims he wants to stop.

This is where I live. Myself & others witnessed 1st hand the bullies, the powerful factional Labour right clique willfully sabotaging locally elected politicians. If Labour Cllrs had not resigned Labour to be independents in coalition with Greens, we’d have a Tory-led council.

Last year Starmer’s Labour told its cllrs in Stroud that if they continued in 10 year old coalition with Greens they would be expelled. Only options for those Lab Cllrs were to obey & see Tory minority admin take charge, OR resign Lab & work with greens as indies. They did latter

For some time I've argued Keir Starmer has no leadership skills. Obviously, we don't want another Tory Govt, but Starmer cannot be trusted to do the right thing either. His reversal of every pledge he made to get elected was a red flag long before he praised Margaret Thatcher.👇

On Saturday, Keir Starmer praised Thatcher for unleashing “our natural entrepreneurialism” and bringing “meaningful change”. At a dinner in Glasgow last night he accused her of doing “huge damage,” adding he “profoundly” disagreed with her policies. 🤔

Other excuses were later made for Starmer’s failure to publicise his first visit to Stroud. Stroud is where the climate activists, Extinction Rebellion was founded and the Ecocide organisation, both now international organisations. Perhaps Starmer feared a climate protest.
