So proud of what our @JenniferShutt from @statesnewsroom DC and @FarnoushAmiri of the AP have done to preserve access for the press at the US Capitol serving on the Standing Committee of Correspondents.
Today was the end of a two year term for me on the Standing Committee of Correspondents, one of which I spent as co-chair w/ my friend @JenniferShutt as we fought to maintain press access for the Capitol Hill press corps in the face of much opposition.

Pam Bondi was sworn into office this morning as attorney general of the United States, by Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas. She was confirmed by the Senate Tuesday night. Sen John Fetterman of PA was the lone Democrat who voted for her confirmation.

On tariffs, Trump tonight said, per pool: "I'm speaking with Prime Minister Trudeau tomorrow morning and I'm also speaking with Mexico tomorrow morning. And I don't expect anything very dramatic. We put tariffs on. They owe us a lot of money, and I'm sure they're going to pay."
