The latest @mbrrace report reveals blood clots are again the leading cause of maternal deaths in UK. This highlights the urgent need to address maternal health issues beyond mortality. Implementing the recommendations is crucial to improving maternal care, morbidity & outcomes
The latest MBRRACE-UK data on maternal deaths has been released today. It shows a statistically non-significant decrease in the mortality rate for women who died during or soon after pregnancy in 2021-23 #mbrrace @Marianfknight @npeu_oxford @Oxford_NDPH
