@AldoScrim89 @jambojimmysp I think he was trying to get the ball as he wanted to take it to the penalty spot so he could damage the ground while he was there. As he couldn't get it, he did the whole shoe lace tying thing at the penalty spot instead.

Disappointingly predictable weekend of Scottish cup football. Only real shock of the round happening up in Pittodrie.

@PilgrimPetey @Argyle He’s a defensive mid but likes to get forward with the ball himself & quite capable of doing it. I think our manager just prefers a set up where defensive mids win the ball and quickly pass it elsewhere. Was at his best when we were basically doing a 4 2 4.

@TartanArmy34 @Argyle I’m not arguing he was the right fit for our team but he was (and still is) a very decent footballer. And our poor run was certainly not down to him solely.
