Monday was the worst day in the trial, for me. It's always hard to rewatch the videos and hear the audio of Manny'a last moments. But people who came to support Matthew Collins laughed every time on Monday. Every single time. The judge said nothing.
ICYMI the judge finally addressed the laughing and talking in the courtroom from the cops family and friends. Only took someone asking what's so funny in the parking lot for that to happen...

Everyone should be watching this trial. If you can't come in person, you should consider live-steaming. The decision to charge 3 cops with murder was historic in the state of Washington, and the first step to upholding the law that was passed as a result of I-940.
"He killed himself by resisting arrest" may be the most disrespectful thing we've heard in this courtroom from the defense.

the best part about being able to do these workshops is that my niece is interning for me. she's been going to coding workshops with me since she was about 8 and she'll start her college career in the fall, majoring in computer science.

On Friday I said it felt clear MIT admin took sides, and this is what I meant. They put up these fences around the encampment, making it so that there's one way in and out. At the "counter-protest" they were free to come and go as they please, they even shut down traffic.
In the morning when the Zionist entity begins to bombard Rafah and call for its evacuation, MIT police besieges SAGE with tall, covered barricades, and establishes a checkpoint.
Only MIT ID holders are allowed in, and the checkpoint is complete with a list of banned items.

Three years ago today my friend's brother was murdered by Tacoma Police, and nobody knew. They went through great lengths to cover it up and went as far as saying it was excited delirium, but it was hypoxia due to physical restraint. TPD murdered Manuel Ellis.
On March 3rd 2020 Manuel Ellis was murdered by Tacoma Police. Three years later all of the officers involved in his murder are still employed, including the 3 that are on trial.
