North Carolina in the Appalachian Mountains. There’s snowboarding in the winter and kayaking in the summer. I moved from Louisiana to here and love it. I may miss the food but I wouldn’t move back. Also it’s very tucked away. Plenty of privacy. All your major cities are close.
