Our new paper published in @BrainBehavImm shows ablating pericytes in mice causes hypoactivity🏃, motor impairment, vessel dysfunction🩸, and widespread gliosis🌟. Another reminder of how important pericytes are for brain function. @BradASutherland @LabGlial (1/3)

@rust_ruslan @DaniBeckman @BrainBehavImm @BradASutherland @LabGlial I've had success with PDGFRb, CD13, NG2 and ACE2 in mouse tissue, and our lab has successfully labelled pericytes with PDGFRb in human tissue (doi: 10.1002/glia.24371). I agree with @rust_ruslan, PDGFRb is your best bet to avoid CD13+ monocytes 😊
