@ComicLoverMari
And the worst part is that the writers never treat it that way. They usually have Sue excuse his actions or portray her as secretly wanting it deep down.
@NirvanaM1nd
Thankfully that's canonically a different version since the designation from the comic isn't the same one for the show. Same with the Amazing Friends universe.
@RawbertBeef
@to_astonish
Also getting a big acting role at 20 is an impressive accomplishment, especially when you consider how many other actresses there would be. She basically left school, spent two years working to achieve her dream, and then actually succeeded.
@ZacOfSteel
Superman is literally why every other superhero exists. And Spider-Man inspired hundreds of other teenage superheroes with relatable real life problems.
@Superherotalk18
I didn’t like 2003 Robin in this. TTG Robin actually kept trying to make peace with him despite his rudeness and form a friendship, but 2003 Robin kept hating on him even at the very end while their teammates had become friends and accepted each other’s good and bad qualities.
@Venomussy
@AwesomEmergency
There’s a ScreenRant article where Gunn is quoted saying that he didn’t mean anything more than it to be a funny scene. But he said Karen Gillan thinks Nebula has a small crush on Peter and Gunn doesn’t dismiss the possibility.
Not new to Twitter. I’ve got loads of DC and Marvel moots, looking for moots who like:
-Doctor Who
-Supernatural
-Star Wars
-Merlin
-Telltale
-Assassin’s Creed
-Sherlock
-Fallout
-Comics
-Games
-Films/TV
RTs are appreciated.
@Mitzle_
Are you certain that it's worldwide? I can't find any mention of that and it sounds like something that only affects America, though obviously it's still bad.
@Guslivesagain
In fairness they can be toxic when written badly and their relationship isn't always healthy. But you can tell from the comments that the person who made the post is ignoring the fact that they can also be written really well and is only acknowledging stuff that proves them right
@ogbrownnerd
They travelled using different methods. Plus I still think that the glitching is a flaw in the Spider-Verse method of travelling to other universes that they haven’t figured out yet, since obviously the MCU Kang uses tech to travel across the multiverse without glitching.
@DC_moments
While Aquaman curing him of his autism was stupid, the backstory for Black Manta is actually pretty interesting and I think with a better writer could be brought back into canon. I can easily imagine Gotham being corrupt enough that they would send an autistic kid to Arkham.
@ayrthonupnext
@DiscussingFilm
The original comics weren't all about "what if a character made a different choice", they were sometimes about "what if something randomly different happened in history". There was an issue where WWII occurred in space due to Leonardo DaVinci inventing things more for example.
I’m not saying Marvel is obligated to pander to us, the writers are obviously allowed to tell whatever story they want.
But how they’ve written these two has just been painful and the story they’re telling is awful. If Marvel doesn’t want them together that’s fine, but what they
@HamavalThorfinn
I think this scene takes place before or around the same time as Hell to Pay, as that's when Thawne is trying to avert his death. It has to take place before Hush as that's when Batman changed his costume.
@EARTH_1610_616
Does anyone else dislike this idea? She’s pretty much the only major Inhuman character outside of the royal family and being one makes her more unique when compared to other heroes. Meanwhile there are already hundreds of mutant characters.
@StaticsBurner
When the Doctor saved Gallifrey, saved a family from dying in Pompeii, cured a clone race of humans suffering from every disease, and cured people from being gas mask zombies. I know he’s not a superhero, but he still a hero and my favourite fictional character.
@ComicLoverMari
I agree he has suffered, but I always find it annoying when some people act like no other character has suffered more than him. Plus people often forget that Batman is full of compassion and wants to help people, and want him to be a edge lord driven by vengeance.
@Mitzle_
That’s ridiculous. The entire idea is ridiculous, I know that it’s insane it’s gotten this far to be a worry but surely nobody is going to let it become an actual law.
@driftyfilm
I’ve been saying this for ages. All people want to talk about is the bad films while any good stuff is because of other people like Raimi or Lord & Miller instead of Sony. But the reality is that Sony has done pretty well with the Spider-Man rights.
This isn’t meant to start an argument, it’s just a simple question. Do you like Superman with or without the trunks?
Personally I like him with the trunks, I think it looks better and I don’t think it’s any more ridiculous or goofy than the rest of his costume.
@BoosterRdT
The reason Superman going public domain would be bad is because there are plenty of characters in the public domain already. But nobody wants to do anything with them or if they do they rarely do anything good with them. If Superman was public we would just get horror films.
Tell me why you did or didn’t like this film.
Personally I thought it was great for being a unique and memorable Darkseid story. How many Darkseid stories focus on Constantine, a powerless Superman, Raven, Damian and Etrigan?
I got Michael Keaton
Bruce Wayne (Batman)
Beetlejuice (Beetlejuice)
Adrian Toomes (Spider-Man: Homecoming)
Doug Kinney/Lance/Rico/Lenny (Multiplicity)
Reply for an actor
I got Robert Pattinson
Bruce Wayne (The Batman)
Reverend Preston Teagardin (The Devil All the Time)
Thomas Howard (The Lighthouse)
Samuel Alabaster (Damsel)
Reply for an actor
@Kung_Fu_Cthulhu
@LombardiaNahuel
It started earlier with Spider-Man 3 and Spectacular all making her a completely different character. But also I think the comics themselves changed the perception since it focuses on the good stuff and ignored the bad.
@W0lfsb4ne1
@ComicLoverMari
It’s complicated and I haven’t read every FF comic. But they never really had a relationship. They are attracted to each other, and Sue at times feels tempted to act on this during the bad parts of her relationship with Reed. But Namor is basically obsessed with her and has -
@1TheSuperfan
While there are times where it feels unique, most of the time Metropolis feels like a generic city with no personality. Smallville is the opposite, it rarely feels generic and usually feels like a place that you can honestly believe someone like Superman would have come from.
@WebHeaded_Josh
I'm not trying to start an argument when I say this, but if he wasn't called Spider-Man Ghost-Spider should have been his codename instead of Spider-Gwen's. It makes more sense since he actually turns invisible, while her codename only works because 616 Gwen is dead.
@Nitemanprod
@HamavalThorfinn
Apokolips War had Flash acknowledge Flashpoint, and both him and Constantine act like he was the one who did it, not an AU version of him.
How many of my moots are also Titans fans?
While I will admit this show had problems, I think it’s really overhated and there was plenty to still like about it.
Does anyone else find it funny how in just three years people went from being excited and loving these films, while saying how they’re so much better than the DCAMU, to just complaining about the huge drop in quality and how rushed everything is. Meanwhile even though it still -
@invincibleFan_
I would be confused and annoyed. The worst thing they could do is reboot the MCU, it’s too big and gone on for too long. They would need to wait a long time before they could reboot it and by then I would want completely different people in charge so we would get something new.
@Av3rage_Us3r
-Dark Knight Returns and The Killing Joke are overrated
-Batman is more interesting with the Bat-Family
-The Batman is boring
-Batman isn’t realistic, most of the time he’s more OP than Superman
-Since it’s apparently a hot take now, Bale is the best live-action Batman
@JoshuaM37848390
It should stay MJ. They don’t have to get together in the next film, but to me it makes him look bad if he immediately starts seeing someone else after NWH.
@ArkhamNumb
The TTG thing was weird. They didn't confirm that was canon in an alternate universe, they just showed a universe where the cartoon existed. But Crisis already did all this, so I think it was a missed opportunity not to add other film/shows to the multiverse.
A GOAT character on the same level as Lois Lane and Selina Kyle. I just wish Marvel recognised that and treated MJ, and her relationship with Peter, with more respect.
What is your opinion of the Tomorrowverse? Do you like the films and think they’re an improvement over the DCAMU, or do you think the universe is a mess and the DCAMU was better?
@VesinReturns
In all seriousness, Batman's suit and gadgets means that none of Kevin's traps could really hurt him. But I feel like Batman would be so impressed by his planning skills that he would make him Robin.
@nakshatra_007
@hzjoe03
The Illuminati called the MCU Earth-616 but ATSV is using the comic designation of Earth-199999. The multiverse is infinite, and two different groups would obviously give different designations to the same universe if they're unaware of each other. So both are technically right.
@wetwalrus31
@falloutfan10101
Most of my problems with Rey are more related to the writing and story decisions of the sequel trilogy than her actual character/personality.
@DarkInfamy_
Batman has been around for 84 years now and has being reimagined so many times that pretty much every adaption is accurate to the character to some degree. But people consider their preferred version of Batman as being accurate and judge adaptions on how similar they are to it.
@redeemedrobin
I do agree it can be a little too edgy at times, but for me personally it made sense because of the high stakes and premise. And I like DamiRae.
@Mar_DC767620022
@SpiderMan3news
I think Sony legally can only make a Spider-Man show if it's 45 minutes or more. So for Spectacular to come back they would have to do that or copy DC and make direct-to-DVD animated films.
@CQuill97
I didn’t watch the Arrowverse, but he’s not wrong. While he could have worded it better, he is Green Arrow for an entire generation people who grew up with Arrow the same as how Grant Gustin is the Flash and Welling is Superman.
@Harp_Stephens_
I found it weird that the film said that her and Keaton Batman were destined to die when the whole reason they exist is because Barry saved his mum.
@W0lfsb4ne1
@ComicLoverMari
often tried to force her to leave Reed, once teaming with Doom to alter the minds of the team including Sue and another time physically trying to make her come with him in the 90s until Reed intervened.
@DimensionsInJen
I really hope we don't get the Master, we had Missy and the Spy Master. If they want a Time Lord villain they should bring back the Monk (Big Finish even has a female incarnation called the Nun) or the Rani. I would settle for the War Chief over having the Master back.
@melikeydrwho
My understanding is that this Doctor was the most human and flawed. He had accepted Earth as his second home and embraced that, but that gave him a more human outlook on things like regeneration. So he saw it as him dying while other incarnations saw it as simply a big change.
@CQuill97
@ZacOfSteel
I really don’t see the problem and I’m from the UK. When I hear Superman say American Way I’m not hearing “America is the best”. It’s like Cap saying he fights for the American Dream, they’re talking about the ideals those sayings stand for.
@Guslivesagain
The Doctor spent 4.5 billion years being hunted by a monster and dying, and confirming that he remembers all of it. Then you have things like the Time War and outliving their friends and family, so the Doctor has definitely suffered.
