Health update: September 5th, 2020.
Wanted to share a quick photo of where my body’s at after 6 cycles of chemotherapy. Weight loss has been staggering, down to 150 (high school weight). Whole body significantly smaller. Arms in pain.
Can’t wait to hear I’m in remission. 🙏❤️

Speaking from experience as a Hodgkin’s survivor that the chemo is 100% the culprit. Had the exact same thing happen. Wrecks havoc and destroys so much of yourself, but all reversible and back to normal in time after your last session. Strength of the body and mind. You got this.

Interesting note here: This is a Destiny “development” roadmap (not Marathon or Matter), meaning that if this roadmap holds true, Bungie has something “redacted” that is/was being developed alongside The Final Shape w/ a similar development timeline of roughly ~1.5-2yrs.

For statistics, Hodgkin’s Lymphoma survivors have a 72% chance of relapse within 2yrs of final treatment & remission. If I stay cancer free for 2yrs, that number drops to 5.6%.
