As I was going through my photos I ran across this one from last week that @CardenBrent took. This could be my favorite one he has ever taken, and there has been quite a few he has taken of my children. As @chobbs1_chris has said. “This is the culture we are building at our school.”

One of the most toxic traits we have as school administrators is being overly optimistic and nice. Even when we know a lesson didn’t go well, we often try to spin it positively for the teacher. But sometimes, the best support we can give is honest, constructive feedback. We need to call a spade a spade, because real growth starts with real conversations.
