Is there information in diffused light? Yes, even at lengths equivalent to >10cm of human tissue! In the future, we'll see cheaper and safer optical technologies replace the need for X-rays and MRI scans. Not sure what I'm more proud of, the publication or this GIF I made!

@UofGPhysAstro had a clear out of old undergrad lab equipment. I bagged this old projector which had a missing bulb. That’s 3x LCoS SLMs, 1x dichroic x-cube prism, 2x dichrochic filters, 3x narrowband filters, 2x lenslet arrays and a bunch of mirrors and lenses. 😎
