best part of Jessie's subplot is seeing how it brings out the worst in Rick. she symbolizes his old life & he tries to reclaim what he lost, without realizing it's too late. he doesn't fit that mold. when he says "this is different" about Michonne, he knows. it's better.

I agree! It shows that even pre-apocalypse they had trouble communicating & struggled to get on the same page. At a fundamental level, Rick & Michonne don't have that problem.

it was honestly hurtful and hard to watch as the writers suddenly ignored all the development between R & M for that pointless arc... I'll never understand it. Rick and Michonne should've moved in together, acted on their feelings, and never looked back w/out that Jessie mess.

Rick pays attention to details. He notices stuff. Thangs. Cat sculptures, toothpaste preferences, his wife's missing M necklace. She wore it back at the prison. It must've meant something to her. At the very least, she must've liked it. So, of course, he makes her another.

Rick's always had his eye on Michonne. From clocking her M necklace to admiring the cat sculpture in her prison cell to filing away "baking soda & spearmint" as her favorite toothpaste -- he was noticing every detail!! remembering every word!! so in love!!
