and the cooler weather we’ve started walking around more. Discovered we have an entire sports complex in our neighborhood today. Plus we spent an hour adventuring and walking. This is awesome!

This week I step away from the full-time streaming I've done for three years. I'll be starting an IRL job out of the house for the first time in over a decade. I'm going to keep gaming, streaming, and doing what I love while doing what I need to for my family as a single mom.

Today was my 44th birthday. I still haven't figured out who I want to be when I grow up. But I'm really happy with who I am right now and excited to see what comes next.

In January I said goodbye to the 180’s after getting too close to 190 for my comfort. Looks like I’ll be kissing the 170’s goodbye in March. 20 to go 🙂 This is pretty exciting.

I'm two weeks out from a HUGE move. Getting my own place after my divorce six years ago.
I worked really hard to get here. I'm a bit of a mess but I promise when I get moved it's going to be a game changer.

On my birthday.
I remember to this day being so incredibly afraid.
I'm still not where I want to be, but I'm on my way. And I'm no longer scared.

I have a friend in the hospital in critical condition from COVID and if they die I'm not going to be okay. They went out to a bar in Florida and got sick three days later. A week later pneumonia, hospital, heart attack, and now...

Real talk I'm a single mom. I had a job and a plan to get out of debt. I live with my parents and when COVID popped up I had to quit. They're immune compromised.
I'm streaming and doing what I can to keep my goals on track. This year will not break me, but it's been a shit show

And just like that I had no pets. I said goodbye to Angel the dog this summer. Cyrus the cat who went with my ex in the divorce passed a month ago. And then Gracie the dog today.
Loving animals is the best thing in the world. Saying goodbye is the worst.

He was on my lap for over an hour sleeping. Poor guy has been through a lot. Apparently he was adopted but they brought him back a few days later because someone was allergic.
He’s happy and sweet and will have a wonderful forever home here.

My daughter came home from college for the weekend, moved her friend in to our home because she needed a positive space, and is now sleeping on the couch while her best friend sleeps in her room. I may not do everything right in life but I’m proud of my children.

Yesterday vs today. Consider for a moment that I am old, and that this entire wall was built with just myself and my dad over two weeks. The difference in the final day of construction vs today is epic. All of the kids, including the one we “adopted” have a space now.
