A week ago Avery Neff was using a walker. In fact she even thought her season was over. On Friday, Utah’s star freshman returned to action. Here’s how she did it:

Avery Neff gets a massive round of applause from Utah's crowd after completing her first bar routine. Fans are not happy with her 9.8 score, though.

Makenna Smith and Grace McCallum lead the Red Rocks with a 9.975 and 9.9 on vault, respectively. Outside of that, Utah had some deductions on their landings. It'll finish the first rotation with 49.275.
