Before each practice Coach Dimel would walk into the video office and check in with our students just to see how their day was going. It’s something so small but showed the kind of person he was. Truly a great man. I’m thankful to have been able to call him my friend. 💔
Dana Dimel impacted countless student-athletes and people through his football journey and the Illinois famILLy was lucky to have him on our staff. Our love and thoughts are with his family.

HUGE WIN!! Today was also a special day for the video staff. For the first time in my career we traveled an all female student video staff to Rutgers this week. Their hard work and attention to detail made this possible!! Can’t thank them enough for everything they do. #FamILLy
