When my child was 15 she was really into miniatures, so she made this abandoned bathroom out of polymer clay and other random things we had lying around the house...just for fun. The fixtures are mostly beads, etc. For scale, this is about 4 inches wide by 12" deep.

Years ago, I asked a neighbor if she cared to beta read for me as we talked books often. When she finished, for some reason, I felt like I owed her something, so I gifted her a handmade quilt. Her reply? “Thank you. I’ll keep it in my car.” I think about that a lot.

My cousin recently wrote a book and my aunt was asking me questions about the process. I assumed that meant he was planning to self-pub, but then she said, "Why don't you just get a publisher? That's what we're planning to do." Of course! Why didn't I think of that? My bad. 🤔😆

My mama. Gone 6 yrs now from breast cancer. She never took herself too seriously as evidenced here. We were having a yard sale & had a bin of the kids dress up costumes and I turned around to find her sweeping. To all the good witches out there, have a great day ❤️

The story: my mom loved to refinish chairs. She taught me. She passed from breast cancer six years ago. My daughter rescued this pair of chairs. I taught her how to fix them. Very healing. I wrote a book of fiction based on this called Chair Repair and Other Ways to Die. ❤️
