Today I drove by 1 of our schools during the walkout, slowed down as I passed the students taking part & opened my window. The uncertainty in their eyes was obvious, until I smiled and said "You're awesome"
Imagine bullying kids who are standing up for themselves & others.

When he was wheeled out of recovery, with his head wrapped in bandages, and tubes everywhere, I could finally breathe a sigh of relief.
The next 6 days were spent, with me sleeping on a bench next to his bed, never setting foot outside the hospital.

and I knew my boy was in the best hands, but the hours we waited were excruciating. Not long after they began surgery a nurse was sent out to update us and inform us that our sweet boy had started to lose alot of blood, and they had to give him a blood transfusion.
