There are no quick fixes for #AMR, it’s difficult to ‘just act now’. Our future is open-ended, but we can focus on processes that are transparent, fair and accountable, that acknowledge diversity of perspectives to plan for a sustainable and equitable future with AMR. #WAAW

For #WAAW, reposting our comment in The Lancet on a just transition for #AMR, and the need to amplify “discussions prioritising justice, sustainability, inclusivity and equity in the planning for futures with antimicrobial resistance”.

Last day for our team in Pretoria. Today's focus is on 'Forging a human rights response to #AMR in Africa' with contributions from human rights and policy specialists from the continent. Dr Sheila Varadan from Leiden University opened the session.
