Would like to ask for a lot of prayer. Oncologist office called back and said blood tests were positive for Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia. It is cancer of the blood and bone marrow. Not what I wanted to hear, but my God is in control.

Starting back on Chemo on Monday, all the pills in the box for each day are to combat/help the one poisonous one beside them. This is the 5th time, probably won’t be the last, but we’re throwing the kitchen sink, and the tool shed at it.

Well, couldn’t make it until the 14th to finish chemo, body won’t let me take it anymore. Feel poisoned all over, but the Dawgs are playing so maybe that’ll be a boost. Go Dawgs!!! 🐶

They didn’t find infection, so they drained the cyst, shot antibiotics in there, and patched him up. He’s already passed back out on the couch. Thankful it turned out benign, and thankful for all the prayers!

Publix in Foley is open, we have been here over 2 hrs in line, but getting non perishables, and bottled water. They have WiFi here, but we don’t have any signal at home. Have a friend on the way to Montgomery to get us a generator and gas hopefully. Thanks folks, we’re hangin in.

Today is day 11 of chemo, had already signed up for a 5K walk in the Zydeco Crawfish festival with Amanda and Lilly, so still doing it, but going to stroll easy, and tear up the crawfish afterwards.

Amanda is really struggling at Gitmo, they have her in a very rough area, and she can’t talk to me about any of it, and we share most everything. She’s really in a rough mental patch, and isolated from her family , and praying people, prayers are very welcome, and thanks.

Got my biopsy results back this afternoon, and they are trying to get surgery scheduled at Dr Hengholds office in Pensacola soon. Also getting referred to cancer institute in Foley to see if there are any other options than going through chemo again. Ready to get the surgery over

Went to my oncologist this morning, and for the 1st time in years, actually have some optimistic hope on a couple of new treatment options. One is an Image guided superficial radiation therapy, and they’ve approved immunotherapy for what I have. Weighing options out.

They took 3 biopsies from the tumor and cauterized them, sending off to analyze. Setting appt with a Mose surgeon in Pensacola to do surgery. Referring also to an Oncologist to explore other treatments. Was told chemo was the only treatments for what I have.

Had the absolute worst day I’ve ever had with chemo, over did it helping the guys on a job, and have has SEVERE muscle cramps since about 9 this morning, drank a jar of pickle juice, 4 electrolytes, 2 flexeril and still bad, but still feel like running through a wall. 🐶 🏈👊🏼
