Scrolling through the Kobe posts with a heavy heart and thinking how short life is.
Life is fleeting and fragile. Gone in an instant.
Let go of hurt feelings. Seek healing. Bury grudges. Tell the people you love that you love them. Tell them now & often. Luke 6:28

Moments ago I was voted in as the pastor of Harris Creek in Waco, TX. I am humbled to serve this church as their lead pastor and FOREVER grateful for our church home in Dallas, Watermark.…
Please pray for the teaching
@harris_creek
in Waco tomorrow. I will give the first sermon as their pastor. Would love for you to ask God to bless the message and the body. Thank you so much!
And join us!!!
In church Weston’s class is learning about the Good Samaritan, and so they asked “what do you do if a little girl falls off her bike and is hurt?” Weston speaks up- “I’m not doing anything because she could have a neck injury, and I heard in a book, you shouldn’t move them”. 😂
Lord, grow us through the challenges of 2017 and help us be grateful for the many blessings given to us in it. May 2018 be filled with faith, blessings and grace. May we grow closer to You everyday in it.
About 10 years ago, I heard a pastor I really respect say that these school shootings would only increase. In schools guns are outlawed, but sadly is so is prayer. I grieve with the families. I’m not pushing an agenda other than Jesus. We need Jesus. So. Sad.
Saw this this morning. Surreal. I believe in the message. I hope you will help me share it with the world & please partner with me in prayer, asking God to glorify Himself through this project. If you know anyone finishing college, or in the business world
The greatest encouragement to a preacher is not “great sermon” or “home run”, but rather “here’s what I’m changing because of what God shared through you” or “this is what I learned about God today.”
For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given,
and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Today, boldly display an empty tomb to the marvel of everyone who looks on. The only thing seen in there are the sins of the person peeking in. Locked away forever in the death of Christ and made powerless by His resurrection.
We say humility is not thinking less of yourself, but thinking of yourself less. Biblical humility is actually thinking of others more and thinking more of others, believing the very best of them.
Some ask, “How can a good God send anyone to hell?” That’s the wrong question. We should be asking, “How can a perfect God allow any sinner into His presence?” This is what God does: He invites us in.

Some are deconstructing their faith.
You cannot deconstruct something built on The Cornerstone, Jesus Christ. What is built on Him will not topple. It will last for eternity.
If you’ve trusted in Christ’s payment on the cross, don’t leave

feeling guilt and shame. The Accuser would love that. You’ve been set free! Walk in freedom pursuing Christ.
