Spoke to my friend in Toulouse. Apparently these riots are due to the explosion of hatred for Macron, who is spending too much on himself and taking from them. They also hate the eu/euro and are demanding they leave. She says the riots are much worse than we are being told

In the 80s I had 2 small children, husband left and paid nothing. I received benefits, fed and clothed my children. We struggled, but managed and got by. It taught me and them to be self reliant and strong - a great lesson! Benefits should be a hand up, not a hand out!

My daughter tested positive 2 weeks ago. We were all isolated in the house with her and none of us got it. However, when we told people she was positive, not one was shocked or frightened that she had this so called “deadly” virus that’s closed our country. that says a lot to me

Just to re-cap.We voted to leave the eu. A50 was triggered and a date set. She tried to negotiate a "good" deal, but the eu wouldnt let her, So she came away with a bad deal. Now, we're not allowed to leave unless her bad deal is accepted. Who's holding our country to ransom?
