NTSB to hold a media briefing at 6 p.m. ET today on its investigation into Wednesday’s mid-air collision involving a PSA Airlines Bombardier CRJ700 airplane and a Sikorsky H-60 military helicopter near Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. Briefing will be held at the historic lobby in Terminal 1 at DCA.

As I wrap up a nonstop week all I can be is thankful for the Fox News team. So many of our producers, assignment editors, managers, reporters, and photographers have been working around the clock since Wednesday’s crash. While the entire situation is horrific and gut wrenching - we all really tried to tell the story (and honor those lost) as best we could.

@ApleRedCybertrk @fox5dc No, it has not been altered other than to shorten it on the front half of the video when the gurney was being taken out of the black vehicle. X only allows videos of certain time limits to be posted. This is all that was captured prior. Them securing the body.

One could assume the body was being put in an ambulance. Whether that happened in this case is unconfirmed, just based on my own prior knowledge.

@fox5dc has confirmed from father of U.S. Army SSgt. Ryan O’Hara this is his son. “It was very touching seeing the other soldiers saluting as they take him out with the draped flag over it, but to sit there and think that that’s my little boy, it’s crushing,” said Gary O’Hara.
Around 5am this morning on @fox5dc - we watched as first responders honored the flag draped remains of an unidentified victim recovered after an American Airlines jet collided with an Army helicopter in DC. 🇺🇸💔
