After giving a final and enjoying a spectacular @AustinOpera performance of Carmen, it is off to Hangzhou vis Shanghai for the @ismsc2024 @TeamISMSC meeting. Excited for great science and a chance to meet and make so many friends.

We mourn the untimely passing of Prof. Atanu Jana. Over a decade ago he helped set up a joint lab at Yonsei University (Seoul) with me and Dongho Kim. The picture shows the culmination of a hike in that era. He repeated this task later at Shanghai Univ. He is sorely missed. RIP!

@PalliThordarson @Radboud_Uni The loss of Roeland will e felt acutely by our community for years to come. He was an inspiration and mentor to most of us directly or indirectly. In Austin and beyond we also mourn the passing of Al Bard, the “Father of Modern Electrochemistry”. He too will be sorely missed.
