@TheFirstOkiro I’ve always liked that the EU had the guts to just do the thing, and make Luke their most powerful character. So many franchises feel like they can’t pull the trigger on it but it was oddly refreshing to me.

@2331_tom @TheFirstOkiro I have to say I liked it from the perspective that at the time there was a lot of Revan and Starkiller comparisons that became tiresome. Luke growing into a veritable Force God isn’t the way I would’ve taken the story, but it needed to happen to shut some ppl up. 🤷🏻‍♂️

@starwarstufff The recasts. Han Solo is my favorite star wars character of all time and Lando is in my top 5. I thought I was gonna HATE the recasts, but both guys did fine jobs filling impossible shoes. This movie deserves a sequel or a continuation series.

You have to put everything into context. You can’t just point to one moment in decades of violence and say, “but we tried that!”
