@Jeff_Ermann I was speaking in general - his teams always play tough (ours don't) going back to his teams at Cincy. If you recall, WVU beat the Terps in the Tourney a few years back when Melo got kicked in the head and couldn't finish the game. Need better shooters, too, obviously.

@testudotimes Non factor, non contributor - clears up a scholarship. Can't shoot, can't guard, can't play at this level.

@Jeff_Ermann Terps could sure use a guy like that! You're so right about athleticism which is over-rated. So-called less talented teams like Davidson, NW (2x), Wisc even Iowa (who got swept by MD) give MD fits. They know how to play the game and are well-coached. Fundamentals are stressed.

@YNWABadger @TerrapinHoops MD always loses to skilled white guys on well coached teams - Davidson, NW & Wisc. Iowa probably should have also split vs. MD but they folded late. MD misses layups and FTs - and can't run a play. Maybe stress the fundamentals regardless of race, color or creed.

@TerrapinHoops To pull off a comeback like that you need to make open shots - especially wide open ones! Come on - be ready for the pass, be confident and don't hesitate to shoot it.

Start recruiting guys who can shoot the ball and are smart on the court. Cut down on all the darn turnovers. We thought the turnovers were bad under Turg. Just as bad maybe worse somehow under Willard right now. Take a page from Wisc & Iowa and change who you recruit.

@BleedingGreen Since when? When was the last time Hurts engineered a winning drive? I can't recall - maybe the Buffalo game in OT? That was a light year ago it seems. Something was wrong with him all year and that needs to get fixed ASAP. Gave him a truck load of $ after one good year.
