It was the 11th best selling game in the US in 2023, the only new IP in the top 20 on Circana. It had more time played reportedly than Baldur's Gate 3 yet people try to act like it was a tire fire, and hated by the masses.

I get there is plenty of valid criticism to give. My issue is how much utter bullshit, random potshots, and outright lies are constantly propped up around the game.

It is the perfect canvas for it. A lore-deep RPG that doesn't have a set protagonist. Allows them to easily create a brand new story in it without feeling forced to include certain characters, and they killed it.

It often doesn't feel like genuine feedback or actual issues. It's just getting your lump of flesh as you see others attacking a thing and want to get those upvotes.
The dopamine rush rules all, and you need to make sure that people know you HATE the thing too.

X versions of games having 60 and S not isn't new for the platform as a whole. Plenty of games have only had 30fps as an option on S when X gets a performance one.

For anyone feeling overwhelmed or confused by Starfield, the game has lots of tutorials. Just click 'Help' in the main pause menu and you'll find loads of text to help you grasp the game's many systems.

Gene, HF:R was not a "small game", it was 5 years of dev time with a decent sized team. A smaller game is pentiment, grounded, balatro, manor lords, etc. having 1 or 15 person teams that have huge hits.

Six or seven hours of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League down during a 14-hour stream where the servers were dead most of it.
Looks, sounds, and plays great. Need to see how the build variety/endgame works and if the story keeps up. Enjoying it a lot so far.
