a disability isn't something bad or insulting. you have to understand first what a disability : it's something that makes you not able to handle certain situations like the norm.
for autistic people it's usually social situations , but also all the stimulation problems
I totally get it but I cannot in good conscience call autism a disability. It's a totally different wiring of how your brain works but that doesn't make it bad or less than bc of it.
And I don't think identifying it as a disability is gonna do anything for the people who have it
