Got a chance to watch Jump (VanHalen) last Thursday (12/19) at the Arcada with my Daughter Brooke. They are a fantastic cover of the DLR era . Might as well Jump.... (Yeah that's him soaring....DLR? 😀 )

What a fantastic year of live music. Here we are, early December '24 - and a favorite rolled into town, sold out AC/DC Band (Thunderstruck) at the Arcada. This band absolutely brings down the house. So good, so electric. Went with Drew tonight, more shows yet in '24!

Family had a great time on Friday evening listening to the classic easy tunes of Steely Dan (Deacon Blues) at DesPlaines Theater. So much musical talent packed the stage.

As I look outside and see the "pretty" of the first snow, I fully understand that the bitter cold, countless shoveling , and face pounding winds lie ahead-BUT I reconcile it all knowing the start of our @SFHSVarsitySB is just ahead. Cannot wait. Players‐ be ready, be excited!

Drew has worked hard his last few years in the classroom and in sport. Additionally, he's been involved with an impressive amount of service projects (both in group and individual settings). In this season of THANKS - I truly am thankful for all that surrounds me.

Last night, we were able to watch one of our favorite Tom Petty Tributes - Free Fallin (The Tom Petty Concert Experience) . Fantastic show, the only thing missing was our daughter Brooke (at school UD). But we have a nice show lined up when she comes back during Dec break!
