My advice to newcomers to Mlb the Show.
Buy packs. Every Diamond card you get, You sell for stubs.
With those stubs, buy more packs.
If you have to, start quickselling cards for stubs to buy packs.
Rinse, repeat.

Back in July, I weighed 276 lbs. At 5 foot 9. I was obese. Normal activities were difficult.
May 2019, now officially 176 lbs. Wearing a shirt that I bought 3 yrs ago. It never fit till today.
Anything in life is possible if you believe.

I remember back in MLB the Show 17 we as a community came together and made a gentleman agreement.
We agreed not to use knuckleballers anymore.

For yours truly, it's nostalgic.
Every time I see a fielder fall over trying to make a routine catch it reminds me of a young JERZ who never caught a single ball in RF in little league.

Life Update:
I 've now lost 50 pounds. Halfway to the final goal of 100. Another milestone to be proud of as only a few short months ago doing simple things was hard to do.
Remember, anything in life can be done with hard work and dedication.

A year ago, I was obese, I hit rock bottom financially with no light at the end of the tunnel.
Now, over 100 lbs lost, I finally got into the union for my job and am now permanent there, and am HAPPY.

Imo, Diamond Dynasty in its current format needs a major revamp.
Too much time is spent building your team and not actually used said team, especially as a vast majority of people stop after hitting 900.
Weekend league and more incentives in RS is sorely needed.

Life Update:
I have now lost 40 pounds. This journey which once felt like an abyss is now showing me a light at the end of the tunnel.
I'm not where I want to be, but life is so much better when you feel GOOD.
I will fit into my old clothes again. The road continues. 💪

I vividly remember the Mycareer missions in MLB 17 where you could earn a ton of stubs.
I enjoy the game but if you are winning a majority of your online games, you should at least earn a little in-game currency.
Heck even Madden with its paywall gives out coins every win.

My main issue with

isn't the hitting, the fielding, or content.
It's pitcher stamina in Ranked Seasons. Pitchers like Kluber are seen...every...game.
Would like to see Starters lose more stamina so your 4th and 5th starters don't collect dust.

The announcement of MLB the Show 21 being on Xbox Gamepass day 1 is massive news. It will no doubt draw tons of new eyes to the game.
My main concern outside having early access, what is the incentive of paying full price on playstation?
Hopefully, this gets addressed.

Do not be discouraged with lower than expected numbers at launch. There's gonna be tons of creators streaming 1st month, esp big variety guys. Directory will be crowded.
