Regarding prayer the Rebbe writes: âThere is nothing more conducive to attune the mind and heart towards the consciousness of Gâdâs Presence than regular prayer⊠through prayer and direct personal contact with the Alâmighty, one is reminded every day that Gâd is not far away, in the Seventh Heaven, but is present and here, and His benevolent Providence extends to each and every one individually.â -Excerpt from a letter dated 10th of Iyar 5725.

The Rebbe visits the Ohel, resting place of his father-in-law and predecessor, Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Schneersohn of Lubavitch, bringing individuals' petitions for blessing to the holy site. Regarding these visits the Rebbe shared at a Farbrengen: âThe rebbe does not forsake his flock; even in the higher realms - and especially there - he arouses Divine mercy upon his flock. This ensures that all the requests which will be brought to the Rebbe's resting place will be fulfilled through G-dâs âfull, open, holy and generous handâ.â

"On the 10th of Shevat in 1950, the sixth Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Schneersohn, passed away. On the first anniversary of this day, the late Rebbe's son-in-law, Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson, delivered a Chassidic discourse, signifying acceptance of the leadership of Chabad. Today, Jews and non-Jews from all walks of life come from around the world to the Rebbe's resting place for blessing, spiritual guidance and inspiration on this holy day. In a letter from Elul, 5724 the Rebbe writes: âPrecisely in our generationâŠWe have seen how one individual has brought the world to the brink of destruction. If such is the case in the realm of evil, surely one's potential is much greater in the realm of the good. For, in truth, Creation is essentially good, and therefore more inclined towards the good than the opposite.â

Professor David Weiss once asked the Rebbe: "who can call himself one of your Chassidim?" to which the Rebbe responded: "If a person can look back at the end of the day and feel that he has advanced ethically, morally, and in Jewishly matters, even just one step beyond where he was in the beginning of the day, I shall happily call him one of my Chassidim".

Peace or Peril? Why Israel Must Be Cautious with Saudi Arabia With growing talk of expanding the Abraham Accords, Israel and the U.S. are eager to bring Saudi Arabia into the fold. But history demands a closer look. Why do powerful regimes collapse in the blink of an eye? What hidden risks come with trusting authoritarian rulers? And what critical lessons from history must Israel heed before making peace? This video offers four key lessons Israel must consider before moving forward, drawing from past upheavalsâfrom the Russian Czars to the Shah of Iran. Monarchies like Saudi Arabia are far more fragile than they seem, and the Rebbeâs warnings about these dangers are more relevant than ever. đ Subscribe for more in-depth analysis on Israel's security and her path to enduring peace! đ Like, comment, and share!

Nigun Tzama Lecha Nafshi During a Farbrengen gathering on 13 Tammuz, 1972, the Rebbe leads the crowds of Chassidim in singing the heartfelt nigun âTzama Lecha Nafshiâ. With lyrics taken from Psalm 63, the words translate to: âMy soul thirsts for You, my flesh longs for You; (as one) in a desolate and dry land without water, so (I thirst) to see You in the Sanctuary, to behold Your might and glory.â

On the topic of child-rearing the Rebbe writes: "The minute attention given to a child even where the benefit for the moment appears to be quite small, so much so that one may wonder if it is worth the effort⊠even a âsmallâ benefit may in time turn out to be of a lasting quality and extraordinary proportions."

The Mitzvah Tanks Ever encountered a huge truck with Chabad Jews on board, displaying different Mitzvot, driving through your city? These are the âMitzvah Tanksâ, journeying to encourage any Jews they meet to fulfill a Mitzvah. Shortly after their launch in 1974, the tanks line up outside 770 for the Rebbe to see.
