Mike Brown said Warriors changed their pick and roll coverage going into tonight and after making the change Andrew Wiggins went to coach Brown and asked if he could pick up Tyus Jones full court. Brown said, "you want to do that for 48 min?" Wiggins replied, "I'm locked in."
“I almost say it’s your (media) fault that we don’t have those answers because none of you guys are asking (the owners) the hard questions.”
Richard Sherman says the media needs to put more pressure on the NFL owners to hire black coaches.
NBA announced Game 7 of Warriors/Kings series on ABC on Sunday, averaged 9.8 million viewers, making it the most-watched 1st round NBA playoff game in 24 years. The game, which peaked with 11.9 million viewers, is ABC’s largest audience for a non-NBA Finals postseason game ever.
Steve Kerr w/not so subtle jab while discussing GSW mantra for rest of series
"Just play hard. Battle for every loose ball, battle for every rebound, compete every possession & you know, don’t risk a guy’s career if he’s ahead of the play in transition.”
Clinic for the Warriors tonight. Defense, player movement, shooting. Steph Curry w/an MVP statement, Draymond Green w/a DPOY statement. And the Warriors w/a major shot across the NBA bow that they are back and a championship contender THIS SEASON when Klay Thompson comes back.
Nets reap what they sow. Durant an all time legend. Harden fat and injured at the end. Kyrie unavailable. Steve Nash everything you’d expect from the poor mans Steve Kerr
Looked like Klay Thompson kicked chair on Warriors bench then picked up a shooting shirt or towels and chucked them down the baseline in anger after being subbed out for GP2 to close the half.
Klay Thompson went to locker room, came back on the floor to shoot two FT’s then ran back to play defense w/a torn ACL. Then told Steve Kerr he needed “two minutes” and would be back for start of fourth quarter. Incredible display of toughness.

Jonathan Kuminga easily being the best Warriors player tonight is a nice development for them even as they get blown out in Toronto. He’s been able to show off more of his wing talents in this one. 3-ball, attacking rim.
The biggest contingent of Warriors fans in the house tonight of any of the three games at TD Garden in this series. Big group cheering each Steph Curry 3-point make during early warmup during an extended make streak
October 29, 2014. The night the SFGiants dynasty culminated in championship number 3 in 5 years in KC while in Sacramento the Steve Kerr Warriors era began and another dynasty was born. Those two games overlapped for about 80 minutes as a sort of Bay Area passing of the torch.
Could 100% see DeMarcus Cousins sitting at home pissed off nobody called to offer him a contract when F/A opened & then after a couple days saying you know what F-everyone, I'll sign w/
#Warriors
for $5.3M & rest of NBA can be pissed off I did it. Shoulda called & made an offer.

cancelled formal practice for today. Players given the option to come in to workout and or get treatment. No media availability. Second time in 11 days GSW have had two days off (no game/no practice) in a row. Curry/Bell still scheduled to be re-evaluated today.
My guess is the Warriors had GPII penciled in for midlevel exception type money ($6.479M x 3 years) but beyond that it would be tough especially w/lux tax multiplying that in actual cash.
Blazers offered enough of an uncomfortable price point and got their man.
Klay wants Draymond to put up triple doubles for next 10-years...
And Draymond knows: “if I’m wide open & Klay’s half open I think it’s still a better shot if I get the ball to Klay.”
Klay’s reactions are pretty classic in this.
What a difference a night makes for Warriors, hot start from 3, attacking the rim more aggressively, all the offense lead to defense and impact games from Andrew Wiggins, Jordan Poole, Jonathan Kuminga, Damion Lee and Andre Iguodala.
Warriors 31-11
13 days ago 49ers were a series away vs. Rams from their season being a complete failure. Kyle Shanahan would have missed playoffs in 4 of first 5 seasons. Now they’re one win away from going to a second Super Bowl in 3 years & he’s 4-1 in playoffs w/2 road wins. Impressive turn.
GSW win on Sunday at POR +
LAC win vs. POR & LAC win at PHX =
Warriors 6-seed and play SAC
If Warriors win and Clippers lose either game =
Warriors 5-seed and play PHX
Warriors wiped away about 10 minutes of the Suns grinding their way back in the game in less than two minutes by knocking down 3-straight threes. Curry, Wiggins, Poole. Lead from 2 to 11 just like that
The Warriors have won a road game in a 28th consecutive playoff series. Every single one Steph Curry, Draymond Green and Klay Thompson have played in together.
Warriors at Memphis on March 9 has been bumped up from a 7:00pm PT start to a 4;30pm PT start.
League has added Knicks at Kings to TNT slate for 7:00pm PT that night
Some nights for the Warriors it's still all about Stephen Curry and tonight is one of those nights. 18 points in first half w/3 boards and 3 assists. He's a +21, fueled 16-2 run to close half, GSW up 58-44
Nobody on the injury report for Warriors ahead of tomorrow’s Game 4 in Denver other than James Wiseman. Draymond Green and Jordan Poole not even banged up enough to list.
I love Damian Lillard but can we not do Steph/Dame thing? Why must we do this about everything? It's a fools discussion. Dame is an all-time great & personally my favorite player to watch in NBA but Steph is a two time MVP & a 3 time champion. Stop the madness.
Hell of a win for Warriors at Miami...
Led by an efficient/electric Jordan Poole. Miami had no answer for Jonathan Kuminga. Lee/Bjelica w/games for the "critics". Better game from Wiggins than he's had in awhile.
GSW outplayed/outworked Miami. Dare I say, "punked" them?
Everything you need to know about the Jon Gruden

in 2018. Derek Carr throws it into the ground on 4th & 5 down 14 with 4 minutes left in the game. After a timeout.
Warriors were down 94-86 with 11:34 to go and Curry resting after blowing 16-point lead.
37-22 Warriors from there to win 123-116.
Impressive display of composure to regroup
They have road wins at Utah & at Phoenix shorthanded on consecutive holiday Saturdays.
So much of 49ers promise offensively is based on notion that Kyle Shanahan is going to scheme up advantages everywhere that make poor talent solid, solid talent good and good talent great. At what point does his rep start being questioned even a little? Not trolling, just asking.
Unserious works both ways:
Jazz are unserious about a deal w/Warriors by asking for Kuminga & Podziemski in addition to Moody + multiple picks.
Warriors are unserious to think they can get Markkanen w/a Moody + pick package w/o Kuminga or Podziemski.
Both notions are a joke.
Draymond Green (personal reasons) is questionable for Warriors at Denver tomorrow night.
Nikola Jokic (right wrist inflammation) is probable for Nuggets
Jamal Murray (right hamstring strain) is OUT
Warriors are going back to the NBA Finals for the 6th time in 8 years & for 6th straight season w/Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green healthy. They have never lost a Western Conference playoff series under Steve Kerr.
NBA Finals begin at Chase Center, Thursday June 2
