Safe to say yesterday was a good day! Started off by picking up my academic letter, which proved i maintained a 4.0 gpa last year! Then, I was able to get some hitting reps to get ready for the Veterans Invitational! I ended the night with a big region flag football win!

!! Did some drill work with plyo balls and then ended my lesson with 2 10 pitch speed drills! I also hit 2 buckets off the tee really working on my rhythm and also keeping good sequence between my hands and hips!

and I had an incredible showing at T-Bolts! We went 5-0 and thanks to our strong defense, we held opponents to only 2 runs scored, not to mention our awesome offense scoring 22 runs 😉 Pitching highlights: 5 IN, 5 H, 1 R, 5 K’s, 0 BB. Lets kick it at Scenic City!

South Forsyth junior Josie Crossman tossed a five-inning no-hitter in an 8-0 victory over Lanier. Meanwhile, East Forsyth pitcher Cadence Alberty gave herself all the run support she needed in a 10-0, six-inning win in Region 8-4A play at Madison County.

So proud of this team and how far we made it at nationals! So many studs on this team and I can’t wait for so much more growth! This weekend ALONE we outscored our opponents 50-20, and our final tournament record was 6-2! I cannot wait for next season!

Although our stay at nationals was cut a little shorter than we wanted, Im happy to say we made it to the final day with only 5 teams left and had a great season going 40-20-1! I batted .579 at nationals with (technically) 4 homeruns and 8 rbis in 7 games!

I have had SO MUCH FUN playing flag football! This week, we go into state playoffs and my team and I could not be more pumped. Here are 2 key plays I’ve made: a 67 yd touchdown and an interception that both helped my team clench region champions. STATE HERE WE COME!
