Back in 1962, Stanford discovered the beauty of Cameroon tobacco, a pivotal moment in our company’s history. As the supply of Cuban tobacco began to dwindle due to the Cuban Embargo, Stanford turned our focus to the exceptional quality of Cameroon tobacco and obtaining as much as we could. The aroma, burn, and flavor of this tobacco exceeded all expectations—it was the best Stanford had seen outside of Cuba. Recognizing its incredible potential, Stanford worked to secure as much of this rare tobacco as possible, ensuring a bright future for our cigars and continuing our tradition of crafting premium smokes. Diamond Crown Classic cigars are creamy and smooth while still complex and flavorful. Diamond Crown’s exceptional taste comes from its double fermented wrappers. Nearly all tobacco is fermented a single time. Diamond Crown wrappers are conditioned, graded, selected, and fermented twice. It is this second fermentation that evens and deepens the Rosado color of the tobacco wrapper and eliminates any potential rawness. After being rolled, Diamond Crown Classic cigars are inspected three times to ensure perfection and are aged in lots of 50 cigars for a minimum of 12 months.

Our collection includes boxes featuring George H.W. Bush, George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, Michael Dukakis, Al Gore, Hubert Humphry, Richard Nixon, and Ronald Reagan.⁠ ⁠ Our historic El Reloj cigar factory is home to the largest collection of cigar memorabilia on display in the world.
