@StephenMConway Works brilliantly for me after I had those exact concerns and eventually gave in. My physical and e-book sales didn't suffer at all. KU tripled my Amazon earnings. They seem to largely be 2 different pools of readers.

@vagrantwires @Defendthewest17 Maybe romanticising war, encouraging a warrior spirit mythos, and beleiving the 'nobility of combat' is what led to the utter, pointless stupidity of WW1 and the vast horrendous massacres it involved. Maybe that's not a good thing to have happen again. Maybe erasing it was good.

@Tom_Mock @AuthorCRitchey And the absolute problem with calling someone a Nazi, who isn't a nazi but simply a very aggressively unpleasant bigot, is that when real nazi's come along it makes it much harder to call them out. The boy who cries wolf problem is very real.

@BeardofDarkness Its a fun detail that they are twice as interested in results of girls butts than everything else. 😂

@TankMuseum It's cool but this footage is also very clearly sped up. Nothing there is moving at a natural speed, from the spring-loaded commander, the supercharged smoke, to the grass moving in the wind.

@AuthorLuisM There is quite a fun video where half a dozen strident anti-gun people get taken to a range by, maybe VICE? And none of them have shot before, they fear and hate the idea, but then most of them absolutely love doing it once they try. It's just a visceral, fun sporting activity.

@JustAiryThings I completely empathise. I also sometimes get this excited by bread based products.

@AuthorLuisM They know it won't work, but all they care about is appearing to 'have done something' so that people will lay off them for a bit. Its abject political and policy cowardice and we shouldn't fall for it for one second.

@AuthorLuisM Also, the 'Is is guns or is it people/culture?' argument has always been dumb to me. It's both. There are countries with lots of guns and no gun crime, and countries with lots of criminals but no guns and thus no gun crime. USA has a violent culture AND ubiquitous guns.
