the 2023 run was awesome, we were quite dominant throughout & that team was really fun to watch but i’d be lying if I didn’t think the 2025 run just feels more special the grit, the toughness, the adversity with injuries/suspensions, the improbable comebacks it’s so surreal..

If Xavier Willison is back for the Prelim it helps soften the loss of Carrigan, not entirely of course but it would be a massive inclusion

Reece Walsh was always going to get off with a fine, the NRL set the precedent by not suspending Morgan Smithies & Jacob Saifiti earlier in the year for headbutts Patrick Carrigan however was the bigger concern for a suspension and it seems the deliberation is still ongoing

Sports is such a unique and beautiful thing, if we would have lost i probably would have locked myself in a isolated room for a week and cry myself to sleep but because we won i’m on cloud nine for the next two weeks How can you not be romantic about it?
