There was a "large" male content creator at SWC on the main stage with me that called one of the women creators the B-word and said she needed to stay in her place. That content creator was given a platform. I ask you are we as men doing enough to create a safe space for women?

Just a couple things about this thread:
1. Just because it seems I got quiet about the issues that were brought up here doesn’t mean there aren’t things going on in the background. There was a meeting with the proper community staff and they were receptive towards the feedback.

I just wanted yall to know watching Sarada training with both Sakara and Sasuke meant the world for me to watch. She is such a great Shinobi with great qualities from both Sakara and Sasuke and it was nice to watch the family dynamic play out on screen for the first time.

As a black person I am the first in the generation of my family who was born with all my freedoms. So we are not even close to being removed from the color bias. Whether it is intentional or not at times I feel like a subhuman, it happens too often to not be a coincidence.

Remember when Sasori spent years perfecting a poison that even he couldn’t mix without a ratio chart? A poison so complex even Chiyo, his superior & the poisons expert of the Sand, couldn’t replicate it? And 15 yr old Sakura created an antidote for it in one afternoon? Queen shit

Just watched Netflix's "I Killed My Father." I never related more to a docuseries in my life. This is going to get personal & it has taken me a lot of reflecting to come to terms with this. I was abused growing up by my father. I didn't have the same outcome as Anthony.

I did the thing. My monologue went beyond well. I actually was able to leave a good 1st impression on the agencies that were there. I had one agent told me I had a great voice another ask me what theatre play was I in last because it sounds like I have theatre background(I dont).

Started streaming 6.5 years ago, with Smite, which I was just starting to play. Never in a million years did I imagine I would be where I am today. This year at SWC, everyone showed up and showed out, and I was shown so much kindness from the community.

1 year ago my mental was in the garbage, I up and quit my passionless job, and ran through the last little amount in my savings, but something told me to go to Gen Con 2022. There I discovered my love for running games for publishers at conventions.

Today my manager for the new architecture firm I work for had me lead a conference call with a planner at the VA to go over my designs. I was told 15 munites before the call that I was leading it. My new role is pushing me out of my comfort zone and I am here for it.
