Question should be more like "are you in Ontario?" cos G license structure is for Ontarians. Other provinces use different structures.
This kind of greeting sha 🤦♀️. The first tweet was good enough.
A simple Eid Mubarak or Happy Eid il Fitr.
What's with the thread and circling back to election talk in a religious celebration?
As-salamu alaykum to our Muslim brothers and sisters. On the occasion of the celebration of Eid il Fitr, I wish you all a Happy Sallah and congratulate you for completing Ramadan 2023 successfully. Ramadan Kareem!
This change of name issue is one of the remnants of colonialism. Pre-colonial Nigerian women did not change their name. My great grandma was referred to as "Ihase, daughter of Edokpayi wife of Egbon". This name changing came with oyibo people, but we carry am for head past them.
@olumurewa
All the rings look same... square cut stones.. that is an indication he probably has an idea of what she like.
Try to see things from a more positive angle. Not everything someone poke holes in.

You have been a source of light and inspiration... may your light never dim! And your strength never ebb.
Love you girl!

Exactly. And add to the fact that the world has different time zones... so over half of the world might be asleep when it aired. Then do the math. If 4.6b worldwide has access to internet who made up the balance 700m to have 5.3b viewers. Aliens from Mars I guess. 🤣🤣🤣
This is the space of the moment. 🤣
Key phrases as follows:
1. "Sponsor people to protest"
2. "100k for Suya for "protesters"
3. "120k lawyer case_- balance of 17k"
4. "Move from Kogi to FCT to protest"
Summary: we no de give shishi de drag 1k, 100k, transport to protest.

How does the diversity of Nigeria mean wiping out an ethnic group? Is it the Nigerian system that will preserve your language and culture or your own self by speaking your language and living your culture?
#WajuSpaces
While it is good to have these authority figures, it is key to remember that not all people do. And does that make them less marriagable?
There have been instances where those with authority figures do terrible things even after the so called authority has spoken to them. /1
Someone told me something:
Don't marry anyone that does not have someone who they listen to, at least someone whose voice they respect when they are angry or irrational.
Stay away from people who don't have some figure of authority in their lives.
Here's to another trip around the sun.
I am thankful for the past one year, and I am looking forward to a great year!

Love this. Truly you cannot give what you don't have. If we don't know or learn how to nourish our own happiness, how then can we share from that happiness with others!
I'm so happy...💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃
A temple announced in my home town Benin City, Nigeria.
I jumped for joy.
Oh the Lord does hear our prayers!
My mom will be so happy.
She travels every almost 6 hours one way to the temple every month.

H.E. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. 💃🎉
Come May 29th, you become the president of Nigeria.
May God lead & guide you, & grant you all you need as you take on this task of leading Nigeria.
God bless you and God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

@DrJoeAbah
The "Nigerian factor" is the lack of integrity, moral character and discipline evident in not just our leaders but also among the citizenry. We see it everyday from the intimate settings of our families/homes to the very formal setting of offices/corporation/government.
No party, platform, or candidate can satisfy all personal preferences. Seek to vote for those that best match your ideals. This may mean changing party support... we should not judge others based on an entire party's platform.

I totally agree with you. We need to do better in Nigeria. Many of these lecturers are intellectually lazy.
You forgot to add that some will adjust and publish their students final year project like it is theirs, or if they are kind, add the student's name as a second author.
@Mochievous
Not just Indians. Most collectivist societies share a lot of similarities, and many of these collectivist societies are in the global south... or dare I say the developing nations. They hold on traditional ideologies regarding life, family and society.
@OlusolaJon
@Chrisihidero
So BBN runs all year round right? Why is BBN always to blame for a problem that is glaring.
Do societal issues seemingly affected by "distraction from BBN" only happen when BBN is airing?
There is the Big Brother show airing in US and Canada right now. No one is pointing to it.

says a lot about some people we have in our country.
People rejoicing over the death of someone. 😢😢
We are in a mess... a very big mess, but we don't seem to realize it yet. This vile & despicable behavior is scary.
This here is truth...
Live your life...
Live your truth... unapologetically!!
Do not be confined by the ideals and ideas of others...
Be comfortable in your skin and always say no to bodyshaming...

thanks for this message.

She was unhappy & depressed seeing how Saro was treating her. He didn't just disrespect her, he also leaked her true identity to the other wives. He watched while she was mocked for her childlessness and did not speak up for her. So yeah she would definitely get older faster.

Thank you for this. I say my name as it is pronounced traditionally and I applaud those who try, cos my name is sort of a tongue twister 😄. Again names have meaning & given that my language is tonal, mispronouncing my name can change the meaning.
@amuta_ann
Love this! A lot of women will not take this, whether MIL or wife... there is that tussle and squabble for a space in the kitchen.
Thanks for sharing.
@ivancedric_a
Nope! I say my full name as it is pronounced in my Edo tribe in Nigeria. It feels good just to do it.
For ease, they can use my middle name, but I will not mispronounce my traditional name; & I applaud those who try to pronounce my name as best as their accent & tongue allows.
@asemota
But epa, DT used the platform of the republican party as a launching pad. If he had run as an independent then this example would have been a perfect fit to relate to the Nigerian situation.
DT may have changed the campaign style, but the GOP party already had a strong base.
Happy birthday to my fine friend

I like! One of the gatekeeping women do in the family is intervening in the kitchen for men, and many time it is an unconscious act. It takes a lot not to intervene. Anyhow the food comes out, we'll eat it like that.👍😁
Very well articulated
@JemilaEA
. I hope madam
@obyezeks
will read and act accordingly.
I am surprised & saddened by those tweets by
@Oluomoofderby
. To think that someone who's associated with Healthcare in the UK has such strong prejudice against an ethnic group in Nigeria. 🤦♀️

@the_emaediong
My point is who sent the video to Tiwa? That's the issue here. Cos that's the real snitch. They are not safe in that place... cos someone is obviously keeping records on others.
@kuintzle
Thank you for bringing this conversation here. 2nd year PhD, currently studying infertility as a social construct and it's interesting that the concept is so medicalised we don't look at how it intersects with our lives and shapes our individual life's experiences.

I don't think age matters. 21 years ago many of these over 65 year old politicians we have today were in their 40s and 50s. The speaker of the house was in his 30s and he is still in politics today.
Present Kogi state governor is in his 40s. Age isn't the issue.
Wishing all my Muslim brothers and sisters in Nigeria and across the globe a very happy Eid-ul-Fitr celebration. May your prayers and supplications offered during the holy month of Ramadan be answered by the Almighty.
Eid Mubarak 🇳🇬
What a shame.
Same pastor who touted 5G as evil. Same 5G you might be using and talking here.
Yet you are running headless ontop fake prophesy.
Wake up! There're other candidates with Biblical names running for president.
Your pastor obviously missed the memo. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I did not know someone has to be Obidient to host a space about Nigerian politics.
I do not think this your tweet is necessary and it is inciting mob violence which doesn't look good for
@PeterObi
supporters. And this mob violence is why people say Obidients are aggressive.
@ayosogunro
Unfortunately many do not know. People keep crying for change without understanding the way the system works.
The society is governed by the constitution. It is the bedrock that everything stands on. Sadly, the bedrock upon which this sham of a democracy is built is very faulty.
@eniteyoung
@asemota
@chukydyk2
Thank you. The moral fabric of our society is totally torn. Imagine someone in his early 20s without an obvious job owning a costly car, or building a house, yet his parents celebrate him rather than properly interrogate his source of funds. This is the situation in Nigeria now.
Really?
What is the aim of this tweet? Aren't you ashamed of yourself?
Mocking a man doing his job and pursuing his means of livelihood, cos you want to score cheap political points or what.
Ah.. o ma se ooo
You and those who liked the tweet should be ashamed of yourselves.

I'm disappointed in you. A 78 year old man tripped while springing up the stairs and it is buy market to you? So at your age, you've never tripped before right? If you have, did that mean your organisation abi firm bought market? Did that take away your role?
Smh.
You are in the midst of your own desperate attempt to make it through your own survival.
Will you make it?
The answer is YES!
You have already been saved through Jesus Christ.

It is an uncomfortable conversation to have, but it is very important.
an additional question to include in the conversation is "are you open to adoption?" or "what do you think about adoption?"
