A dirt-poor, small-town boy from the Texas Panhandle gets recruited to an Ivy-League School. Hilarity ensues. Somehow, he graduated...

The story of my life… (Believe what you want to believe) Obscure – The Lonely Man Who Kept Breaking the World Do you ever wonder who’s really to blame? Red Stone, a plain and simple boy, was tasked with disrupting the world. Recruited to the world’s most elite school, he was drafted and trained by powerful men for special assignments. A terrible duty that was confusing, discouraging, and often agonizing. But ultimately, Red stayed true to his calling, and his journey became deeply fulfilling. Why should you care? Because, without him, you would never have heard the phrase “Ladies and Gentlemen, please stand to honor the 45th President of the United States, Donald J. Trump.” Without him, Kanye West would be stigmatized and destitute, instead one of the wealthiest Black men in the world. Without him, there would be no stained dress, and Bill Clinton & Monica Lewinski would still be hiding their ‘covert’ relations. Without him, Al Gore wins the Presidency. Without him, Elon Musk would be a nobody, never heading up Paypal, Tesla, SpaceX or Twitter (X). Without him, BTS would have broken up long before becoming worldwide stars, even bigger than Elvis or The Beatles or Michael Jackson. And without him, Princess Diana might still be alive… …9/11 would not have happened… …and Covid 19 would not have escaped the lab in Wuhan. (Red is a flawed man. Mistakes happen.) Not just these, either; he was at the heart of myriad major events across the globe. Hang on to your chair. Red will make you laugh, make you cry, disappoint you, unnerve you, and make you cringe. Intense and edgy, you'll be blindsided - not knowing what’s coming next, or where it's coming from… Across almost 4 decades, Red wasn’t allowed to tell a single soul. Not even to his beautiful and loving wife. That is, until now…

This is something to contemplate. Does holiness associate with prostitutes, drunks, drug abusers, tax-collectors, sex addicts? The way I see it, Jesus spent a huge part of His ministry calling out the most 'set apart' for their pursuit of 'being holy'. To Him, their pursuit of holiness reeked of hypocrisy. 'Lord, I thank you I'm not like him' vs. 'Lord, have mercy on me, a sinner.' I'm not advocating selfishness or excusing sin. Repentance is necessary for salvation. However, the emphasis should be on hospitality and love, not some set of rules. I've attended churches that felt more like Judaism with a little dose of Jesus thrown in, than a welcoming place of forgiveness & hope. And I've I known plenty of Christians who are so stuck on holiness, on being 'set apart', they won't allow 'sinners' into their lives. Or homes... Or churches... Just my 2 cents. By-the-way, I am grateful for your service in standing up as an Ambassador of Christ. You make a difference with your life.

@HBCoop_ Just out of curiosity, how many credits are required for 1 video generation, and how many video generations does it take to find one that is satisfactory for you?

That 'useful' education is important. Glad you didn't say 'college'. I had a similar background. Started working at age 14. I was recruited to an Ivy-League School (Brown). Got my degree there and then high-tailed it to Texas. I've mentored dozens of young men these last 20 years. Some went to college, some didn't. The ones who got training in high-demand trades straight out of high school are doing better socially and financially than the college grads. I give them all the same advice: "Don't let societal expectations cripple you. Learn a skill that has a future, and learn to get along with others."
