Citizens who neutralize terrorists will no longer have their weapon confiscated, thanks to my reform in the Min. of National Security.
Too many heroes who killed threatening terrorists had their weapons revoked. Citizens who defend themselves deserve an award! Not confiscation.
במסגרת הרפורמה בנשק אותה אני מוביל במשרד לביטחון לאומי, לפי הנוהל המשטרתי החדש מהיום אזרח שינטרל מחבל נשקו לא ילקח ממנו. בעבר היו יותר מידי מקרים שבהם מי שחיסל מחבל שסיכן חיים לקחו ממנו את הנשק - המדיניות שלי זה לתת לאזרחים שהגנו על עצמם ועל אחרים צל"ש! לא להחרים את הנשק.

This law is all the more meaningful on this difficult day, when two Jews were murdered in a shocking terrorist attack.

Dedicating my work today to the Anteman, Fayerman, Mardouf & Masoud families who lost Elisha, Ofer, Nachman Shmuel & Harel (HY"D) in the June 20th murders in Eli.
My wife & I visited them & they told us about their beautiful qualities & love of the Land.
May they be the last.

Our light - "Or" - has gone out. After a 12 day heroic battle, ironman Or Eshkar, hy"d, succumbed to injuries inflicted on him by a lowly terrorist. I join in the deep mourning of the family.

When I arrived at the Ministry of National Security, one of the goals I set for myself was to increase salaries and bring more police officers to the police force.
And it's happening - more new officers are being recruited than are leaving.

My blessings to the commanders & policemen of the Negev Region on another step in the fight against crime groups. In a unique operation, Border Police & air marshals successfully raided crime ring compounds last night in Bir HaDaj.

Last night I celebrated in Sde Boaz, in Gush Etzion, south of Jerusalem, the decision that I helped lead in the Cabinet to apply legal status to their community along with 8 other towns. An important step in the development of Judea and Samaria and the whole Land of Israel.
באמצע הלילה הגעתי לשדה בועז וחגגתי עם התושבים את ההחלטה שהובלתי בקבינט יחד עם שרים נוספים להפוך את היישוב שלהם יחד עם 8 ישובים נוספים, לישובים מן המניין. יום גדול, צעד חשוב מאוד והתחלה טובה לתנופת פיתוח יהודה ושומרון וארץ ישראל כולה.

I requested that police allow a protest in front of my house after they initially refused to let it to come so close. Protests that don't harm public welfare are important in democracy.
I'm against anarchy, but whoever wants to demonstrate and exercise freedom of speech - great!

I arrived at the scene of a serious murder in Ashdod - my heart is broken! Stopping these crimes is a top priority for me and for the police.
Israel must return to strong governance. To that end, we must increase the police budget, add officers and strengthen the department.
