@ShivaniM_KC Wait for the full text. The evidence for A1c, weight and insulin dose reductions is level 1A. The grade D recommendation is because of uncertainty about who will benefit and recognizing uncertainty re balance of risk and harm

@Abdul_stock A real risk - hence need for risk mitigation. But PWD live with risk everyday (eg hypo). For many years DKA risk was the objection to pumps. Continuous ketone monitoring will be here before you know it and could help mitigate risk
