Collaboration can’t work if you own the theatre and the content. More importantly, retaining and reviving the same content (situ 30 years) doesn’t show you can collaborate. Theatre needs competition! #SuppressNewWriting #Monopoly

Pleased to see more theatre/venue openings. This is crucial in a market which has been dominated by the ‘larger players’ for decades. I would argue these monopolies have suppressed new writing. Let the playground be competitive!
