We are so sorry to hear of the passing of Michael Longley, one of Ireland's poetry legends.
It is with deep sadness that Poetry Ireland heard today of the passing of one of Ireland's foremost poets, Michael Longley. He had a long, impactful career, and he will be fondly remembered by all of us lucky enough to have read his work and to have crossed paths with him.
