Thinking of my Syrian friends and all the Syrian people today. Who knows what will come next. But today the long suffering Syrian people can finally celebrate the demise of the murderous, despised Assad regime and hope for a better future.

Some reflections on my time in Cyprus, on opportunities realised and those unfulfilled.

An urgent solution is needed to relocate these people to more humane conditions and to allow for the processing of their asylum claims.
